Lantern Scratch

Nine silver panels sit over a blossom-lit card. Rub them away with a pointer, a fingertip or the keyboard: three matching symbols pays, and every prize on the card lists the exact chance of landing it.

How to play

Set a stake — that is what one card costs, from 100 coins upwards.
Deal the card. Nine panels appear, each hiding one of five symbols.
Scratch: drag across the panels, tap them, or move to a panel with Tab and press Enter.
Three of the same symbol anywhere on the card pays. Two of a kind pays nothing, however close it looks.

Once all nine panels are open the card settles on its own. "Reveal the rest" opens the remainder in one go if you would rather not scratch them all.

Multipliers are the total return on the card's cost: three Koi on a 500-coin card returns 2,500 coins.

How a card is built

The moment you deal, one random draw from crypto.getRandomValues decides the card's result against the table above. Only then are the nine symbols laid out — the winning symbol three times, everything else at most twice, so a card can never accidentally hold two winners.

Add the table up and a card returns about 88.5 coins for every 100 staked over a very long run. Individual cards swing wildly around that, which is exactly what a scratch card is.
